You do not have to completely forego pretty nails, just be sure to pick nail polishes that do not have nasty chemicals like Formaldehyde in them.
3. Forget the wrinkle cream and teeth whitening. Whitening products, such as skin or teeth whitening, often have Retinol or Thioglycolic Acid in them. This is another very dangerous chemical that should be avoided during pregnancy. Wrinkle cream may also contain Retinol.
4. Beware when brushing your teeth.
Even toothpaste can contain harsh chemicals designed to whiten teeth. Avoid using toothpaste that contain whitening chemicals and look for pregnancy safe products
